Amethyst and Silver

I've just gotten a mixed batch of some very small faced semi-precious gemstones. Usually you'd just set them with prongs, but I want to try something a bit less generic. Although the whole pendant didn't turn out this way, the actually setting part makes me think Art Deco. I really like where this is going, but it still needs a lot of work and a few tweaks. The setting isn't stiff enough to keep the stone in place right now, and this one got chewed up a bit, so it's onto the next attempt!
